Beer Margarita

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces (180ml) beer preferably Mexican beer such as Corona
  • 1 1/2 ounces (45ml) silver tequila
  • 1 ounce (30ml) triple sec such as Cointreau
  • 1 ounce (30ml) freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon agave syrup
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker (preferred): add a couple of ice cubes, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and agave sirup to a shaker. Shake for 20 seconds until well chilled. Strain to one large short cocktail glass or two coupe glasses. Slowly pour in the beer.
  • Garnish with lime slices and enjoy!
