These pizza mummies are such an easy and delicious savory Halloween treat. Spooky pizza hand pies that look like mummies. The kids will go crazy on this fun snack!

Ingredients
You will need just 5 ingredients to make these fun pizza mummies:
- pizza dough – I used a good-quality store-bought dough
- pizza sauce – I used a good-quality store-bought sauce
- salami/pepperoni/ham – or omit it if you want these mini pizzas vegetarian
- cheese – any kind of firm cheese, I used Emmentaler but you can also use low-moisture mozzarella
- black olives – for the ‘eyes’
You could also add more toppings such as sliced mushrooms or veggies like bell peppers or zucchini.
Instead of pizza dough, you can use:
- puff pastry – I already have a similar recipe for puff pastry pizza bites
- English muffins
- flatbread
- toast
- French bread

Step by step instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

STEP 1: Cut the sheet of pizza dough in half lengthwise then into 7 rectangles. You should have 14 rectangles in total. Cut 6 rectangles into thin strips (only 5 are shown on the photo, but you will need 6). You should have 8 whole rectangles and 6 rectangles cut into thin strips.

STEP 2: Place the 8 “whole” rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread pizza sauce on them, leaving some border around the edges.

STEP 3: Place the toppings on top of the sauce. Sliced olives as ‘eyes’ and cut into smaller pieces pepperoni/salami (or other toppings of your choice).

STEP 4: Place sliced into thin strips cheese on top, then arrange the remaining strips of pizza dough on top creating ‘bandages’.
STEP 5: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the dough is lightly golden.
Leave to cool then enjoy!
Storage
These delicious mini pizzas will keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can reheat them in the oven or in a microwave. They can also be frozen – raw or baked.
